Julia Young is our Local Lion who's created a program that ensures every citizen has access to great literary programming. Page 15 provides a place where children come to improve vital literacy skills — it’s also a safe place where they use those skills to find their voice and feel supported by a community of friends and coaches.

At the Veterans Summer Slam, we are on a collective mission to honor and serve those who have so willingly served us. The partnership with Hook Spit Junior Anglers and Cass Coroiescu, strives to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where Veterans can rediscover the joy, serenity, and camaraderie found in fishing and the great outdoors.

Lucille’s 1913 is building a vertically integrated ecosystem that will combat food insecurity and waste;create training and employment opportunities in traditionally under-resourced neighborhoods; and empower communities to discover a self sustainable livelihood through culinary and cultural arts.

She's Happy Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by She's Happy Hair. The organization's purpose is to motivate at-risk youth to become productive and responsible young people by providing the highest quality of mentoring, education, and social services to youth and their families.

Young Life is a world-class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them -- fun, adventure, friendship, and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we believe matters most of all -- the truth about God and His love for them.

The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, Inc., is a multi-discipline arts institution whose mission is to create and enhance an awareness and understanding of artistic, cultural, and aesthetic differences utilizing the framework of African, African American, and Caribbean Arts and Letters.

Chicago based chapter of the American Cancer Society helps families in need work through cancer treatment and cancer related complications in the Chicagoland area.

NYSLSA has two signature events: The Spring Sip & Scramble Golf Tournament and the Holiday Tradeshows. These trade shows are held in October and are designed the connect retailers with distributors and wholesalers. We are proud to say that these shows attract over 200 exhibitors and 1,500 attendees! NYSLSA also holds membership meetings around the state to connect with our members and make sure their voices are heard.

AHRC Foundation provides a financial safety net for the Long Island IDD community to ensure high quality services are available regardless of the fiscal and/or political climate. Empire Merchants is a passionate supporter of this impactful charity, and Sobieski is proud to support their 78th Annual Golf & Tennis Outing.

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), a member of Feeding America®, works to end hunger by distributing food to more than 800 community partners – including food pantries, soup kitchens, and child and senior feeding programs – and by connecting neighbors in need with supportive solutions.

Bridges ends homelessness through street outreach and intensive case management focusing on health, housing, and independence. Bridges forms relationships with those experiencing homelessness while meeting their most urgent needs.

The Polish Heritage Alliance proudly hosts their annual charity golf outing to support local scholarships and to further enhance the cultural programming at the Polish Center.

The PMC donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Founded in 1980, the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) is an annual bike-a-thon that today raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country.

This year’s Long Island Golf Outing will be in loving memory of Jim Adelis. Jim Adelis spent much of his life giving back to the community and never sought praise. His actions were so far-reaching that they even surprised his wife, Lucy. He also organized the Trees for Troops event each year at Dees’ Nursery in Oceanside and gave back to the community in many other ways. He died on April 4, 2020, of Covid-19, but leaves behind a legacy of giving.

Achilles International’s mission is to transform the lives of people with disabilities through athletic programs and social connection. They empower individuals of all ages and abilities to participate in endurance events, breaking down barriers to race start lines. Their programs include running, walking, biking, and swimming, fostering a community where athletes can achieve personal goals and build self-confidence.
